IRS Solutions is a cloud-based tax resolution platform for practitioners handling IRS collections, audits, and notice response.

Firms use it to run the back-end work of a resolution engagement: pulling account, wage, and income transcripts under a Power of Attorney or Tax Information Authorization, interpreting the notice a client has received, and calculating the figures a case turns on — collection alternative comparisons, CSED estimates, first-time penalty abatement eligibility, and bankruptcy dischargeability dates. Transcript data is converted into client-ready reports rather than left as raw IRS output.

An audit monitoring feature watches client transcripts for early indicators of federal tax liens, audits, installment agreement changes, Offer in Compromise activity, and passport certification, often surfacing them before the client receives written notice. The platform also includes a client portal, invoicing and payment processing, form and letter templates, and continuing education content. It is SOC 2 compliant and hosted on AWS GovCloud.

Best suited for enrolled agents, solo practitioners, and small firms building tax resolution as a practice line alongside compliance work. Firms handling occasional resolution cases may find the transcript and case management features in a broader platform such as Canopy sufficient without a dedicated tool.
