AutoEntry is a data extraction tool that captures information from receipts, invoices, bank statements, and bills using OCR technology. It categorises the extracted data and publishes it to accounting software automatically.
Accounting firms use AutoEntry to reduce manual data entry across client accounts. Clients can photograph receipts or forward invoices by email, and AutoEntry extracts the relevant details (date, amount, supplier, VAT/tax) and posts them to the connected accounting platform. It integrates with Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, and other accounting systems. AutoEntry was acquired by Sage and continues to operate as a standalone product.
